This is a special MAVS Magazine because it is our first official newsletter using our new website! This website has been a labor of love and we are so excited to share this with our MCE family! This website is packed full of information - from how to join the PTO, info about our dedicated board volunteers to event details and even shopping our store. Everything is finally all in one place! So without further ado, I present to you our November 2024 MAVS Magazine - website edition!

Fall Fundraiser
Mark your calendars and grab your lucky charms because our Second Annual Great Crossing Chili Cook-Off & Bingo Night is back!
Flyers were sent home in student folders with additional details on how to join the fundraiser. Your student can earn credit for every ticket sold and every donation made, but you must first join your class team.
Join us for a night of family fun as we raise money for playground shade! Savor the flavors from our chili contestants, vote for your favorite chili, and play rounds of Bingo for prizes!
This year, we’re ALSO selling raffle tickets for a chance to win $1,000 cash! Each entry for the raffle is $5. The more tickets you buy, the better your chances of winning. The drawing will take place during Bingo Night, but you don’t have to be present to win.
This year, we are also donating $250 to the American Cancer Society - Gertrude C. Ford hope lodge in honor of breast cancer survivors!
Have a chili recipe that’s sure to take home the grand prize? Enter our chili cook-off! A panel of judges will select the grand prize winner, and all attendees will have the chance to vote for the People’s Choice Award! Tickets available at the link in our bio!
