Welcome back, MAVS — we MISSED you! 🎉 Hope everyone soaked up every last drop of summer, because school is back in session. We are beyond excited for this new school year and all the epic moments ahead!
But first — new friends, listen up! Allow us to introduce you to the one, the only, MCE PTO MAVS Magazine. Think of this as your VIP all-access pass to everything happening at MCE. Every month, on the first, we drop this newsletter packed with everything you need to know — volunteer opportunities, event countdowns, meeting reminders, and SO much more.
Oh, and we even celebrate teacher birthdays because our teachers deserve ALL the hype!

Our MCE PTO sponsored Prayer Walk is happening Sunday, July 26 from 1–3pm. Leave encouraging notes for our teachers and faculty, pray over the school, and help set the tone for an incredible year ahead. Post-it notes and pens provided.

First day of school feelings hitting hard? We've got you! Join us for our PTO BooHoo Breakfast right after drop-off — because we know the first day of kindergarten is a big moment (for the kids and the grown-ups 🥲).
Come grab some breakfast, meet other kinder families, and let the PTO turn those bittersweet feelings into joy!

August PTO Meeting
Mark your calendars — our first PTO meeting of the 2026-2027 school year is happening August 13 at 6:30pm and you do NOT want to miss it! 🗓️
Come find out what the PTO is all about and how you can be part of the fun. We'll be in the PD Library — just head to the right side entrance of the school (looking at the front of the school from the flag pole) and follow the excitement. See you there!
Classroom Parent Interest Form
Want to be a classroom parent this year? We'd love to have you! 🙌
Classroom parents are absolute MVPs — showing up for teachers and making a real difference all year long. Fill out the interest form below and our PTO Classroom Coordinator will be in touch!

Fun Friday
Fun Friday is BACK! 🎉 Friday, August 28 | 7:00–7:30 AM
It's a day kids look forward to every month — and for good reason! Fun Friday supports our amazing MCE PTO! Oh, and did we mention the store items? The kids go WILD for them! Grab your cash and have it ready at drop-off — sales start early and move fast! Look for us in the K–2 and 3–5 hallways before the bell rings. See you there!
